Jo-Ann Kezia Claxton, daughter of Joan and Brian Claxton began her formal education at the Watooka Day Nursery and Primary School where she excelled at the Common Entrance Examination in 2005 to earn a place at The Mackenzie High School. Unsure of a long term goal, she followed in her mother's footsteps and entered the Business stream where she developed a love for some of the new subjects; Information Technology, Social Studies and Principles of Business, to name a few. Over time, she learnt more about entrepreneurship that developed her focus of becoming an Entrepreneur after High School.

Liza Yolanda Johnson is the daughter of proud parents Joseph and Sandra Johnson. She is sixth of the 10 best graduating student of Mackenzie High School and Region #10, in the recent CSEC 2010 examinations. Lisa’s career goal is not yet set in stone. She has a back up plan for her passion of becoming a Doctor of Cardiology. A goal once achieved by Mackenzie High School’s own Dr Gary Stephens of the Brooklyn Hospital Center, New York. Incidentally Liza is one of this years recipient of the MHSAA’s Dr. Gary Stephens Science Award. Liza did not come from a qualified family but certainly from an educated one. Both her parents, did not acquire the opportunity to attend Secondary Schools because of financial crises.....
Mackenzie High School Alumni Association recently awarded the CLABRIA Multi Services LLC Scholarship to Corwin Olton. This scholarship is to provide funding to a graduate from the Mackenzie High School who has been accepted by the University of Guyana for the 2010 - 2011 academic year and is pursuing Studies leading to a Bachelors Degree in the area of Economics. Clabria Multi Services, LLC - Sponsor of this award - has pledged funding for a period of four years. The awardee has to maintain a grade B or higher for continued support. MHSAA and Clabria Multi Services, LLC. wish Cowin every success in his studies. Corwin submitted the following essay to the Scholarship Committee in which he briefly discussed his social, academic and career interests.
